About the ARR Web Site

General Stuff

This is our first attempt at a web site and so we will be keeping it simple for the time being. That means no "flash" objects, no moving parts, no video and so on and so on.

The site was launched in September 2008 and receives updates as needed. The primary areas of change include the Events and the Abingdon Rough Riders Review page. Other minor changes occur through the site in an attempt to keep it all up to date and provide additional information to our members.

Besides introducing our club to other MG owners and potential MG owners, the primary reasons for this site is the distribution of the ARR News Letter. We feel that using electronic methods is a good way to reduce our copying and mailing costs. It also allows the viewing of the newsletter in color something that would be prohibitive using traditional publication methods.
