Ah, the lighter side. This is not about the cars, but the people, the enjoyment they
bring to our little group, and how they have enriched our lives. We would like to share with you some of those folks.
Phil was the creator of the Farley comic strip which ran daily
in the San Francisco Chronicle and Nigel Shiftright, that notorious road warrior in British garb. Sadly, Phil has
passed on, but his humor remains and enhances this web site.
Fortunately we still can still enjoy both his artistic and written witty waggishness.
We present two items;
Nigel Shiftright. Phil and Joe Troise's lover of British Sport Cars
lost in his "Walter Mitty" world.
Brian is an accomplished cabinet maker, artist and cartoonist. He enjoys sharing his
"TC Fanatic", Geoffrey, and his loyal vehicle Nelson in our monthly newsletter. Brian is always on the
lookout for a bit of "Geoffrey Satire", especially when it pokes fun at our adventures.
Geoffrey. Brian's alter ego and the group's reality check.
Norman is a creator of Kinetic Sculpture, with a long list of solo and group exhibits.
If you have a chance to visit the The Exploratorium in San Francisco or any of the many museums listed on his web
site, you can gaze upon his wonderful creations.
Jeff is an artist and boat builder. But not just any boats, large ones yes, however, his
real zeal is the model freesail pond racing. His models are real works of beauty and craftsmanship. He has raced his
models in both San Francisco at Spreckles Lake and in England.
