When: Sunday, June 10thOur Hosts: Pat and Joe Marcotte
Several years ago Pat and Joe found a strawberry establishment whose berries were second to none; literally the finest strawberries that we’ve ever had! This year we invite you to join us on a meander over 45 miles of San Mateo County back roads with the aim of introducing this unforgettable fruit to you.
We’ll meet on Sunday, June 10th at 10:00 sharp in the parking lot of the Skywood Trading Post and Deli, which is located at the intersection of Hwy 35 (aka Skyline Boulevard) and Hwy 84 (aka La Honda Road), across the street from Alice’s Restaurant.
Proceeding toward the coast, we’ll have lunch at Duarte’s Tavern in Pescadero and then head south to the Swanton Berry Farm, in Davenport. You can either pick strawberries or purchase them in baskets/flats.
We ask that you RSVP to us at marcottemg (at) sbcglobal (dot) net no later than June 5th (you can use the email link below) so that we can ensure that you’ll have space at the lunch table. Maps-Instructions will be passed out when we meet in the parking lot in front of the Skywood Trading Post and Deli at 10:00 on Sunday the 10th.
If you are planning on coming or have any questions, please let our host know
