The People of the ARR

The ARR isn't just about owing, fixing and driving vintage MGs. All that is great fun, but it's really about the members, their families, and the relationships that is built among good friends. There are no barriers or borders in this group. We don't care what you did or do for a living,

Fixing a member's stopping power
you're social or economic status, where you live or what condition your MG is currently in. Our members come from all backgrounds and experiences. That's what makes the group as a whole so much fun. It doesn't matter if you've been a member since day one or just joined yesterday. You Are Welcomed!

A special celebration 2 x 50 years

New members are accepted with open arms. We are there for you, to help, especially when it comes to your car. On that note, we offer positive advice on ways to fix problems, we will come to your home, bringing tools and experience, which we give freely. If you are in need of a special piece of equipment or are looking for that elusive part, we will do what we can to help you out. We ask for nothing in return, except that you continue the club's tradition of being there for others.

Our monthly "adventures" generally end with stopping for lunch at a restaurant, a picnic or even at a member's home. That's when the best times begin, the chance to meet socially, chat, kick tires, talk about the run. In general just enjoy each other's company. It's more like an extended family than a club.

Annual Holiday Party

There are two very special events each year: the Gold Country weekend, a three-day meeting in Placerville, where upwards of 15 to 18 TCs arrive along with a mixture of other MGs. And, the Annual Holiday Party in Healdsburg, a two-day weekend. Both of these gatherings brings the group together in a special way. Occasionally, members bring children and grandchildren all of whom are welcome and enjoyed.

We relish in knowing your family, children and grandchildren. We are excited with your joys and saddened by your misfortunes. We are more than just of group of people centered around the monthly driving event. If you choose to become a member of this crew, you will not regret it. To learn more about us, please contact one of our officers and peruse our photos. We look forward to meeting you.
